Kinitheu and Us
We started our Education project for Sustainable Development at Kinitheu.
Here Kinitheu is

Kinitheu Shishu Sadan is a school and hostel at Bandarban, Bangladesh.
There are about 50 children from class 0 to 5 every year, they are from Khumi and Mro indigenous community.
Kinitheu means Sunrise in Khumi language.
Kinitheu was established in 2010 by local people, Siaung Khumi and his companies.
Then, some local organization and volunteers has tried management as much as possible.
Our present member has also visited here to support children since 2010.
But, school management was unstable and many things were missing for children.
We decided to start supporting KInitheu with our full strength from 2019 (by the name of ChotoBela works).
Now, we are dreaming of making a lively space and surroundings for children.

Education
We focus on ESD (Education for Sustainable Development).
Environmental problems, Poverty, Human Rights, Development, Conflicts, ... lots of problems are happening in the world.

We feel those problems and subjects has became more conspicuous in developing countries,

then adversely affected directly children in Bangladesh.

Our vision is "Ensure lively childhood to all children no matter where they come from",

and children will grow up along with it.

The reason why we took the first step for 'indigenous children' and by 'supporting their school' is
that they were suitable presence for realisation of ESD (Education for Sustainable Development).

We believe that the position to be indigenous (minority) people and live in remote area is not their weakness,

although there is discrimination and educational gap, etc. Conversely, minority is good in different ways from majority.

They have individuality, vitality, humanity. Also, know the better way to live in harmony with nature.

We want to assist them in developing their strength.

That said, they are more vulnerable to lot's of problems as mentioned above.

Before they just fall victim to that, we must take any actions...

Education has a tendency to be effective for just exam and job hunting for children in developing countries.

We support kinitheu's children to receive equal and quality education,

in addition we make them feel proud of their own roots and childhood.

We hope that they will get creative and color a country through various ways,

also play an important role at those problems solution.
